The decision to sell part of the park for vehicular access to a new development was turned down unanimously by the Place Scrutiny Committee. At a poorly run Executive Committee meeting it was decided to allow the sale of the land subject to planning permission being given. There is no need for the land to be sold, vehicular access could be constructed in another way..
