We the undersigned residents of Exeter request the Exeter City
Council to cease all work on the Exeter Heat Network for the
following reasons
1 A gas fired source of heat is not in keeping with reducing energy
costs
2 The cost of the pipework is likely to be several times higher
than estimate as evidenced by the very slow progress to date
3 The distance from the source to user is too far to avoid
significant heat loss in transit.
4 The cost of materials, traffic congestion and general disruption
is excessive and in view of the above, unjustified.
